Tri-State Animal ER was created and is operated by a dedicated group of Tri-State veterinarians with a shared mission: providing emergency veterinary care for pets when primary veterinary offices are unavailable. We are here to serve our community during evenings, weekends, holidays, and other times when your regular veterinarian is closed, ensuring pets have access to care when they need it most.
Tri-State Animal ER operates as a walk-in emergency clinic only and does not schedule appointments. Upon arrival, each patient is assessed and triaged by our medical team. Patients are seen based on the severity and urgency of their condition compared with other pets currently waiting. This process helps ensure that critically ill or injured patients receive immediate attention when necessary.
Once your pet has been evaluated by a veterinarian, examination fees range from $135–$150. If additional diagnostics or treatments are recommended, including laboratory testing, radiographs (X-rays), medications, or other medical services, you will receive an estimate for review before proceeding whenever possible.
Payment for services is due in full at the time of treatment, and Tri-State Animal ER does not establish private payment arrangements directly with clients.
We currently accept the following forms of payment:
-Major credit cards
-Debit cards
-Cash
-CareCredit
-Checks are not accepted
Third-party financing is available through CareCredit. If paying with CareCredit, the individual whose name is listed on the account must be present at the time of payment processing in accordance with CareCredit requirements.
Our goal is to provide compassionate, quality emergency care while helping pet owners understand the process and expectations during what can often be stressful situations for both pets and their families.
